Projects

To be considered for NY Forward (NYF) funding, project sponsors had to submit an application during an Open Call for Projects period held June 23 to July 25, 2025. The public was asked to review and provide input on projects submitted during the Open Call at a Public Workshop held August 26, 2025 and through a Public Feedback Form available in hard copy and online from August 26 to September 28, 2025.  After carefully reviewing each project and considering public input, the Westfield NYF Local Planning Committee recommended the following projects be included in the Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) submitted to New York State. These projects will be considered for a share of the $4.5 million in DRI funding available for Westfield. Final grant awards will be announced by the State in early 2026."
